Pet Arrival Policies
For the safety of animals and public health, we require that all animals have proof of current rabies vaccination. If no proof is available, and the pet is healthy enough to receive a vaccine, a rabies vaccine will be administered. Drop-off appointments may be available. We will schedule a time for you to bring your pet to the hospital, complete admission paperwork, and leave them with us. This is typically in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between scheduled appointments and procedures. Once the doctor has evaluated the patient, we will contact you to coordinate testing, treatments, diagnosis, and to discuss discharge procedures.
For the safety of all, dogs must be leashed and controlled in the waiting area and exam rooms. Cats must be in a carrier or on a leash. For the safety of all animals and staff, we may prescribe Pre-Visit Pharmaceuticals (PVP) for your pet's. If your pet has been prescribed PVPs, then we ask that you administer them as directed. Even with PVPs, some pets still require injectable medication for safe handling.
Appointment & Cancellation Policies
We operative primarily by appointment to allow ample time for our patients and scheduled surgical procedures. Emergency and urgent cases are prioritized, which may sometimes results in delays for scheduled appointments. ​ We make a sincere attempt to see each client on time and appreciate your patience in the event of a delay.

​Payment Policies

  • We require full payment at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, most major credit cards, Cherry, Scratch Pay, and Care Credit.

  • Personal checks for established clients only and are not accepted on the first visit.
Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to make your appointment, and do not let us know ahead of time with 24 hours advance notice, a non-refundable deposit will be required in order to reschedule. This deposit is equal to the cost of our exam fee, and will be applied to your account for your next invoice.
